This time is meant for you to receive a “guided self-portrait” where my presence is purely meant to witness your own becoming.
During one of the darkest times of my life, self portraits became an extremely cathartic way for me to ground myself by honestly reflecting on how I felt, how I looked, and where I was in life. This practice of visually confronting myself gave me access to a deeper internal understanding. Holding old experiences with new narratives enabled me to piece together a way forward into healing.
I am here to offer the same experience for YOU.
Within this safe, contemplative space, you will receive images & words that serve as testaments to your growth, challenge, empowerment, change, delight, perspective, or whatever you may be processing and/or releasing at the time.
My hope is that you will leave this time inspired to fully embrace the breath you’ve been given — ready to live your life abundantly.

You will receive:
all edited photos from your session
a unique poem written just for you that reflects this moment in your life
Specific journal prompts for you to further your introspection, growth, and healing
This time is for you to share whatever you’d like while receiving a poetic & photographic self reflection to spur your journey of growth + healing.
Our first 20 minutes together are set aside for us to sit & chat. We can talk about what’s going on in your life and/or about your intentions, desires, and hopes for our time together. After all, this space is for you & you alone.
Once we’re on the same page, we’ll spend roughly two hours together, as I periodically snap photos while you share whatever moment, idea, narrative, experience, or story you would like to release, commemorate, or hold with a new perspective.
Depending on what you prefer, we can take a more guided approach where I ask prodding questions and share more of my own thoughts/experiences OR I let you wonder in your own time & in your own way, offering questions and comments only when necessary.
At the end of the session, I’ll write a poetic reflection about our time & how I envision healing, love, grace, & dignity expanding within you. I encourage all participants to do the same while the experience is fresh.

I want to create a contemplative space that helps you see more of you with beauty, dignity, and love.
Before:
I am asking all participants to wear all black and show up with an open heart. Come prepared with an intention, narrative, story, memory, idea, change, shift, or experience you want to process, challenge, or seek in a new way. This can be anywhere on the spectrum of grief to joy. I edit all photos in black & white, so that more attention is drawn to emotion + expression.
During:
Remember that you are loved, valued, and important. This time, place, and space is dedicated & provided just FOR YOU. You can come completely as you are without fear of expectation, judgment, or shame. I am honored to share time with you & I encourage you to share only what you're comfortable with.
After:
As soon as we’re done, I encourage all participants to write out their own thoughts & feelings that came up during our session in the most unfiltered way possible. This will provide a point of reference to compare alongside my poetic reflection and the edited photos.
