To You, a Listener:
The heart of this album was fueled by our own reckoning with regret, grief, abandonment, neglect, and insecurity. This work reflects our personal journey of integrating younger versions of ourselves that were once abandoned, deemed unworthy, and rejected somewhere along the path of wholeness and love.
Welcome to our reckoning with bringing a painful past into the loving present.
We hope this sound can offer an inspiring experience that helps you see more of yourself with love, hope, and clarity. Our desire is to welcome you into a reflective space that allows you to process your own experiences and create opportunities for you to expand awareness about any potentially unrecognized emotional wounds.
We understand how this can sound ambiguous, intimidating, confusing, or even a bit unexpected for an ambient album. If this happens to be the case for you, remember that you are welcome to come as you are and be as present as you’re able. Healing does not require pressure.
This album encapsulates nostalgia and unfettered innocence, while offering a space to explore your own internal world. We hope you are able to experience peace, hope, and inspiration on your journey.
We’re honored to share this expression with you! <3
